Hey,

I’m originally from San Diego and now live in San Francisco (still looking for a California burrito that holds up).

I didn’t exactly plan my way into tech. I started out working in theme parks, eventually found my way into software, and now spend most of my time working in AI. Not a straight path, but I’m happy I ended up here.

The common thread across all of it is that I like making things make sense. I tend to get pulled toward the part where something is a little messy or unclear, and then try to break it down until it clicks. Explaining things, telling a story, trying to make it click for someone else— that’s the part I enjoy most.

This site is basically me doing that in public. Sometimes I’m learning something new, sometimes I’m trying to explain something clearly, and sometimes I’m just writing things down so I don’t forget them later.

Outside of work: gym, hiking, board games, and occasionally streaming on Twitch (even though I'm bad at video games).
